Breast cancers are particularly aggressive in younger women. Statistics indicate that breast cancer accounts for 26% of all cancers in females 15-39 years of age and 39% of all cancers in 35-39 year olds (1). However, there are no guidelines for the use of imaging procedures during these years. With the breast thermography, women in this age group have a very safe and effective tool that they can add to their regular breast-health checkups.

Age Guidelines

Age 20 – Initial thermogram

Age 20 to 29 – Thermogram every 3 years

Age 30 and over – Thermogram annually

High-Risk clients (family history of breast or ovarian cancer) – As frequently as needed*
